Kudumbasree: 1,65,769 families were supported with 1395 Crore rupees.
MGNREGS: 10.78 lakh families were provided wage employment with Rs. 1139 Crore, out of which 559 Crore rupees already transferred by cash. Working days worth 1336 crore rupees were created.
Agriculture: 198 Crore rupees distributed to 2.38 lakh farmers as compensation for crop loss. One year moratorium for agricultural loans has been declared from August 2018.
Animal Husbandry: 43.7 Crore rupees as solace for 27,736 farmers who lost their livestock.
Fisheries: Rehabilitation activities of fish farming have been initiated in all districts by reallocating plan funds to the tune of Rs.40 crore.
Ujjeewani: Envisages providing bank loans to small enterprises with a margin money of Rs. 2 lakhs.
Emergency construction works of worth Rs.4000 crore have been made out of the 2018-19 plan allocation of various departments. In the current year's budget, the elements for rebuild have been allocated in the major departments. Priority has been given to create jobs and rebuilding of public systems.
An amount of Rs. 4852 crore has been allocated for creating employment. Priority will be given mainly to employment, providing remuneration and skill development.
Rs. 335 crores are being utilized for self-employment project alone. Employment opportunities are created in agriculture-related sectors, livestock, fisheries, cooperation, SC / ST development and rural development.
